London Stansted Airport
Located in Essex, 20 miles north-east of Central London.
Stansted Airport is a hub for a large number of low-cost carriers, being the largest base for Ryanair. The airport is the 3rd busiest in the United Kingdom and one of London's six international airports.
Private companies such as Harrods Aviation also use the runway at Stansted, operating private jets and some state visits.
The airport is owned and operated by BAA.

London Stansted is an amazing airport. The airport is in a brillant location being just 30 miles north-east of Central London. Located right next to both the M11 and A120 roads with regular running trains and busses/coaches from the terminal building, transport links to and from the airport are excellent. The entire airport, both the interior and exterior of the terminal building is immaculate, with barley a spot of dirt or litter anywhere. Both before and after security, as well as near arrivals consists of a fantastic amount and variety of shops, food outlets, restaurants with the addition of many other facillities. Queues are always fast moving, with check-in rarely exceeding 15 minutes, security is never longer than 10 minutes and passport control normally takes as little as 5 minutes. Baggage reclaim is also fast, taking just minutes to arrive and occasionally is already there when you go through passport control. Overall, London Stansted is a fantastic airport which guarantees to give you pleasant journey.
