After checking in with Cape Air at the airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for my connecting flight to Mayaguez, my wallet must have dropped out of my pocket. I arrived in Mayaguez that evening and slept like a baby without even realizing my wallet was missing. At 8am the next morning, I received a call from Cape Air's Caribbean Regional Director informing me they had found my wallet. I had over $500 in cash, my id and 3 credit cards in the wallet. Two Cape Air employees had found my wallet the previous evening and turned it in to their manager. That same day, Cape Air delivered my wallet to me at the Mayaguez airport. The complete contents of my wallet, including all the cash, were there. Cape Air saved my vacation, because without them, not only would I have been out $500 in cash, I would have spent a big chunk of my vacation figuring out how to get back to Miami without any id. Viva Cape Air and viva Puerto Rico!
